Started with Dental Chairs.
Years ago, we realized the need that dentists, medical doctors, chiropractors, podiatrists and optometrists have to keep their treatment chairs and exam tables looking good. So in 1989, Vinyl Crafters was started to serve this need in the Washington DC, Baltimore region. We began by traveling to the individual offices to re-upholster dental chairs on site. Our customers loved this reupholstery service because it meant that in less than one day, their chairs could be recovered to look and feel like new without them having to spend high dollars on a new chair. Soon after, we realized that there were some doctors who would prefer to receive their upholstery in the form of a kit so that they could install it themselves, so we began making complete upholstery kits for the many chairs built with removable upholstery. Of course, we never got away from our roots and still continue to provide in-office installation of upholstery on all brands and models of patient chairs and doctor and assistant stools. We will travel to Baltimore, Washington DC, Northern Virginia, West Virginia and South Central Pennsylvania to recover any treatment chair.
Broad Selection
We have access to hundreds of different patterns and colors of vinyl, fabric and leather like coverings. We use the same fabrics the major dental chair manufacturers use, such as Naugahyde, Boltaflex, Morbern and Ultraleather to name a few. Chances are, we can exactly match your existing chair, or provide a completely new look to coordinate with any office decor. In many cases, new foam is automatically replaced and if a small mechanical repair is needed during the re-covering process, we can usually do that too.

Curves Fitness Clubs
Back in 2003, as Curves For Women clubs were gaining in popularity, a neighbor of ours announced that they had purchased a franchise. Looking at the various machines, it became evident to us that what was needed was a high quality vinyl cover to protect and prolong the life of the upholstered pads. That's when we developed our line of slip-on covers. This product was very well received by the owners, and service was expanded nation-wide soon after that. Today, we can ship covers for any machine in every Curves club and owners tell us they really appreciate the prompt delivery times, superior fit and ease of replacement these covers provide. Many continue to call us for replacements as they are needed. Another plus is that as new pads are introduced by Curves, we make sure our covers remain responsive to these changes by developing new covers or modifying a former design to insure they continue to fit like a glove!
