So, your dental chairs need to be re-upholstered, where do you begin?
IDENTIFY-First, get the brand and model designation from your chairs or stools. Many times, a patient chair will have a tag either under the chair (raise it to make it easier to look underneath the seat) or on the base. Stools, many times, will have some identification tag under the seat cushion or on the frame. Once you know this, you can go to the Photo Gallery page and click on dental chairs to see examples of chairs we have re-upholstered (all of them have been re-upholstered by Vinyl Crafters).
CONTACT-Next, call us at our toll free number or email us using the form on the Contact page. If you call, you’ll speak with Rich who will ask you for your chair information and give you pricing as well as an idea of how long it should take.
DECIDE-If your chairs were made in the last twenty or so years, chances are they have removable upholstery and new cushions and pads can be sent for your installation. However, if you are located in the Baltimore, Washington D.C., South central Pennsylvania or Northern Virginia areas, on-site installation can be arranged. You can choose colors of vinyls at the bottom of this page, or actual vinyl swatches can be sent to you.
At this point, a written quotation (or, if you’re settled on the color and pricing, an invoice) can be emailed or faxed to your office for the doctor’s approval signature. Then, once the appropriate payment amount has been received, work can begin. Whether we will be shipping or installing your new upholstery, all work requires a certain amount of preliminary shop work (cutting and sewing etc.) so please allow a few weeks lead time. Most work done on-site takes between one and four hours, but large jobs will take longer. It’s unusual for any work to take more than one day in your office. We accept checks and all major credit cards.
